A group of AES alumni recently contacted our Director, Dr. Harrington, and HS Principal, Mr. Syed, to share that they had nominated our very own Ms. Vera Garg for the 2025 Nancy Lyman Roelker Mentorship Award, an honor presented every three years by the American Historical Association to an outstanding secondary school history teacher.
In their message, the alumni wrote:
“We could think of no one more deserving than Ms. Garg. Regardless of the outcome, it was a joy to pay tribute to her through this nomination process, and we hope there will be an opportunity to recognize her service at AES in the near future.”
We are deeply grateful for your lasting impact, Ms. Garg. Thank you for your dedication to generations of AES students.
