Lisa Jackson quoted Carole King's Tapestry in her AES grad photo in 1980.  It certainly appears that her "life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue."  Dr. Jackson is a specialist in vaccine research and has been leading teams with Kaiser Permanente to research and test COVID-19 vaccines.  Her story has been highlighted by many, including People.com's "The Women Behind the Vaccine" exclusive and this in-depth article from her alma mater, William & Mary.

Jackson states that her time growing up overseas influenced her career pathway and we're proud to know that AES was a part of that!  It's safe to say that Dr. Jackson's work will impact all of our lives.
