There was something wonderfully timeless about our Class of ’76 reunion: gathered around Indian food, we found ourselves transported back to our middle-school days in New Delhi—the years that, in many ways, shaped us and, in Terri's words, became our own version of The Wonder Years.

Over plates of familiar flavors and through stories told and retold, memories came rushing back: school days, youthful adventures, shared mischief, friendships formed when we were young and somehow enduring across the decades and distances of our adult lives.

We marveled at how quickly the years had passed, how much we could still contribute to society with our time left on earth, and, inevitably, our thoughts turned to classmates and friends who are no longer with us.

It was more than a reunion. It was a celebration of our magical childhood in New Delhi.
