Remembering Anjul Wahal Kaul, who sadly passed away on October 28, 2021 in New Delhi at age 68.  Born February 5, 1953 she experienced multiple health challenges in the last few years.

Anjul attended the American International School, New Delhi 1965-1971 in Grades 7-12. While still in school, she was hired to work with faculty member Jacqueline Singh on the 1970 and 1971 AIS Summer Programs.  She loved children and went on to teach Kindergarten for over 20 years. 

In addition to being well travelled, Anjul lived around the world, including Manhattan, NY for 4 years, London for 5 years, and Dubai for 25 years. 

She was a bibliophile and an avid fan of history and science fiction. A gourmet, she was brilliant and stylish, and always a charming hostess. 

 

Daughter of the late Kamal Nath Wahal and the late Uma Parshad Wahal;

Devoted wife of Vikram Kaul; 

Beloved mother of Hemant (Tricia) and Kartik (Kajal);

Glamorous Grandmother “GG” of Cyan and Gaia;

Loving sister of Niru Wahal Harris (Phil), Veenu Wahal Nagarvala (Ferdoas), and Priya Wahal Poulsen (David);

Adored Masi of Yasmin (Henry), Zubin (Sung), Sebastian and Gabriella;

Doting Bari Masi of Cyrus, Emet, Bella, Zahan and Ava.

 

Her soul is at peace.

We will treasure the happy times, as she wanted.

She will be missed, and is always in our hearts.

The Club will never be the same.
