Remembering Bill Coorsh (AIS Student 1967 - 1968)

In memory of William Lawrence Coorsh, who sadly passed away on December 15, 2023. William attended AIS from 1967 to 1968.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to William's family and friends during this difficult time.

Tribute from Richard Coorsh:

"My brother Bill Coorsh passed away suddenly on December 15, 2023. We cherish and celebrate his life. His memory always will be a blessing.

Bill Coorsh was an extraordinary and engaging man with a deep passion for living and giving.

In his professional life, Bill thrived as an energy trader, most recently as Executive Vice President of Investor Relations for Logista Advisors LLC.

Bill was a loving and doting parent who cared deeply for the well-being of others. He was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. He also served as a board member and former board president of The Center for Pursuit, a nonprofit serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Bill left a lasting impression upon the hearts of members of his religious community, who remain deeply inspired and touched by his friendship, dedication, camaraderie, and ever-deepening spirituality.

Bill was a beloved and devoted brother. He was a proud and avid Purdue University alumnus. He also had a deep affection for people around the world, having lived for several years as a youth in both Pakistan and India."
